Default Help with Yosh pipe.

I bought my bike with a carbon Yoshimura RS-1(I think, I cant remember if that is the right model or not) slip on. About halfway through the season last year I noticed that something was rattling in the exhaust at idle.

The thing that is rattling is on the very end, its hard to describe what it looks like so I drew an awesome picture in MSPaint. I know my drawing skills are amazing, but please try to stay on topic and away from raving about how awesome my MSPaint skills are.

Anyway, the red thing in the exhaust is what is rattling. Im guessing thats the shape of the thing, because I cant just pull it out through the end, but as far as I know it could be elephant shaped. I cant see **** in there.

In order to fix this would I have to take apart the can to fix this thing, or does anyone know what I can do to fix it without having to drill the rivets, take it apart and put it back together?

Thanks guys.

It could be ready for repacking, but it might also be the silencer (if yours has one) that I believe is held in by a retaining screw... you probably have an RS-3 there should be a plaque on the side with the model...

When you look at the end of the exhaust are there 2 screws? My friend had that issue with his yoshi and it was the Dbkiller. It had gotten loose so we tightend it up and it as fine.

The bike is in a garage that I dont have access to at my whim. Otherwise I would know the model number. I know it is an RS-"something" though.

From my memory there are no screws on the end. I cant imagine I wouldnt have tried tightening them if I saw them though.

I just took my rs-1 apart, (it's not carbon) I drilled the inlet side and it was sandwiched together. There was nothing in the end of it. I guess this might not help you but there was nothing in the end of mine.
