Full F4i fairing conversion to F4 frame

Once again I must consult my fellow cbrf riders..

I believe I'm good to go as far as what I need for making the 05 f4i banana fit onto my f4 tail (f4i banana fairing).. But what exactly is needed to drop a whole fairing kit from an 05 f4i onto an f4 frame?

1. Electrical) gauges, headlight, harness?

2. Frame) mainstay?

3. Plastics) will the full f4i kit bolt on with the above things?

I'm wondering if I have everything covered.. If not please add to the list so I can do a writeup on a full f4i fairing and accessories swap to an f4 frame.. Thanks!
Oh and before I get a lecture.. I do know that there are threads that give hints as to how other people have done bits and pieces of the conversion, but I'm looking for definite answers so as to provide cbrf with a complete writeup :)

To the thread starter, google DementedF3. Other than the full fairing kit and f4i fairing stay for that year everything else should be good to go. You should be able to slice your existing OEM harness for headlights/tail by using a 5 pin relay from an automotive store and some 10 gauge wire. Goodluck, im almost finished with my 600rr fairing swap. Wirings all done :icon_bubbles:

Thanks repsolhurricane, for what bike are you doing your conversion on?

on the f4 it's easy. I did it on an f3 first which required making a bracket to hold the mainstay and trimming the fairings.

but on the f4 very simple.

get the f4i mainstay both pieces (bolts right onto our f4s)

you dont have to but i have and prefer the f4i gauges (plus they bolt to the mainstay)

f4i upper fairing
f4i windscreen
(mirrors are the same)
f4i headlight obviously (wiring/ options for you are f4i harness and relay, custom wiring, hids, projectors etc, in my thread i show i went with the projectors now)

"optional"
f4i ram air grills
f4i ramair covers

I haven't looked into the ram air portion yet but ill see if i can reuse my f4 stuff. as far as the ducting goes to the airbox is concerned, I'm not too worried

for the tail you have the banana tail already so not much point in swapping that, if you want the split seat there's lots of writeups for what you need, tail fairing, taillight, subframe, wiring?

side fairings are identical with the exception of decals/colors.

simple simple simple
