First tire change
 

So i am about take off my first tire. When i say tire change i meen take tire off and bring it to dealer for change and balance. Now i have done this with all my motocross bikes, so i am assuming its same. My big question is when i go to put tire back on the new tire i mean do i need to mess with the axle bolts or the bolts that move the rear tire forward and back on the swingarm. I am hoping i can keep it where it is so i do not have to mess with the chain tightness. Let me no what is reccomended. I was planning on keep it all the same and just throwing the new rubber on. What do i do?

You have to loosen the chain tensioners to get the tire off, so unfortunately you'll have to set it all back up when you put the tire on.

my plan was to loosen axle nut then remove it. Push tire all the way up so chain is loose if i have to then i will take the master link off chain to remove tire. Willl this work, i dont see y i would have to mess with the botls to adjust the rear tire front to back. Let me know

if you lossen the axle nut and push it out the adjuster blocks will move and allow the rim to slide forward. take the chain off the sprockett and lay it on the swing arm everything will come out from there. just make sure that you put the chain back on before replacing the axle.

adjusting the chain tensioner is easier than breaking the chain and you will have to adjust if you break the chain.

The adjustment on the chain tensioners isn't hard at all. Just make sure you've got it all lined up before you go out riding.

Has anyone tried releasing the chain tension by removing the front sprocket? Seems like it would work, and then you don't have to hassle with the adjusting chain tensioners.

Well, it shouldn't really be a hassle loosening the adjusters.
If you remember where the adjusters were set when you started... maybe even mark them if you like... then put everything back together the same way and then fine tune it, it's really not hard.
I would think it would be as easy as trying to remove the countershaft sprocket, etc, etc.
I mean, you have to adjust your chain occasionally anyway. The only other thing you may have to do is measure for rear wheel alignment instead of counting turns, and it's still not a real hard thing to do.
