F4i to 600RR conversion
so i was wondering if this could be done fairly easily? by easily i mean like banana seat to split seat conversion on the F4i. i love that rear fairing but i couldnt afford the bike at the time. i have a 05 F4i. thanks guys

That is covered pretty extensively on this forum it seems to be rather simple. I'd do a search for tail conversion. I seem to remember someone did a write up on it and listed all the parts needed. I am not sure the cost though...

I am looking to do the same thing, and I was told that the subframes wont swap because the RR is so much wider than the F4i. I meana guy could fab up something but I just dont have the resources. If you find out something let me know.

you should of bought 01 or 02 f4i and then you would of had the split seats and there all the same front end to

Well right now I am going to be putting a 2005 1000rr tail on my F4. Essentially the same as your bannana seat. I just got the seats in today and should be getting the tail tomorrow or on monday. I will post pics when its done.
