Engine mods...

Hey everyone, what's up? I'm from Marysville, Ohio and am new to the Forum. Before I get started, I'd like to say that this Forum is like my second home, other than Mid-Ohio, ha ha! Everyone on here are the nicest people that you could meet, you're all cool as hell, and I'm honored that you have me as a member of this Forum. Okay, here's my situation...I have an '05 600RR with a full-race Yosh RS5 exhaust, K&N filter, and a Power Comander III with a custom map, all for performance, other than my Qualifiers. Other than that, it just has a s**tload of accessories on it. I was thinking about dropping between $3-$5K in the motor, and other mods, maybe spending a little more...but the question is...would it be worth it? It'd be pretty cool to have a 600 that runs with the liter's but is it really worth the money? Should I just sell my bike, get a liter and do a few mods to it? Let me know what you guys think about everything, etc.!

If you have tha tmuch money to dump into a motor(and have probably 2 years on it before it blows up), just sell the 600 and get a CBR1krr or an R1.

Even if you could get the 600 up to the HP of the liter bike, the drivetrain, suspension and the bike itself is not designed around that kind of power. You will be better served by a literbike that will have more power, handle better and have a warranty.

Yeah, thanks guys! I'm the f**king dumba** who bought a 600 in the first place! lol, don't get me wrong, 600's are awesome bikes, I just want more power, ALOT more power!
