93 cbr f3 fairing upgrades

How many years up can you go with new fairings on a 93 f3 that will still work?

93? you sure that isnt an f2?

95/96 years were the old f3's and 97/98 were the new f3's
check out some of my stickies.
I had a 96 with the old fairings and i converted to the new tail and seat.

if you have an f2, in order to convert to f3 (front end) im pretty sure you might possibly need the new fairing stay, but the whole front end of the f3 should bolt right up then. keep in mind the headlight is different on the f2 and f3 as well.

the back end is tricky for f2's as im not 100% but i believe they are quite similar to the 95/96 f3 tail. if so, you can more than likely swap the fairings with no trouble at all.

However, if you would like to go to the 97/98 tail like mine now, you will need the new 3 pieces of the tail (left/right/center) as well as the new 97/98 taillight bracket, and also the new taillight.

The seats are also in my sticky. the 95/96 seats are similar if not the same, however the 97/98 seat is entirely different.

Price wise ballpark:
f3 stay: 80~
f3 headlight: 60~
97/98 tailight: 30~
97/98 taillight bracket: 20~
97/98 seat: 50~

fairings vary on price, but the newer, usually the more expensive.

my opinion: stick to f2 or 95/96 f3 body style unless you got the cash to make the swap.

feel free to message me if you need any help.

my buddy has an f2 parked at my house.
mine is a 96 f3

we swap parts all the time, you will learn to love how great it is to have 2 similar bikes.

if you dont have rear and front stands, invest in them.

I'm currently in the process right now of upgrading my f2 to the 1st gen f3(95-96).
For the parts youll need..
f3 fairing stay
f3 headlight
I was told the f2 taillight is the same as the 1st gen f3
The gauge cluster was a tight fit into the f3 stay. I had to trim it a bit for it to fit
