Maybee i live in my own little world or something. But i could have sworn i lived in california where the pigs where the worst pigs than any other pigs in any other state that had pigs..and im sorry if i still yet to this day have not been pulled over..im even more sorry that everyone else whos says this kit will get them pulled over is trashing it..i dont understand y i still have no problems with the kit and everyone else does..do you guys have a pig magnet on ? you cant keep your speed under control? you cant figure out that all a pig wants is to see your plate? wether is on the side or up top or inside or side by side..i have had this kit on for almost two months..go back and forth to work everyday..and have not been even lookd at the wrong way by a cop...so take your negativity and ride with it have a wonderful day

Sorry but i was too cheap to pay $40 and up for some fender eliminator that probably was probably aPOS that was probably too tucked in that the police would pull me over again and agian that i paid $3.99 for my own POS and couldn't be more happier. Now I can spend the money on things that will actually add HP. What I bought was L-brackets from Ace hardware and once my exhaust came it I took the fender off and connected the L-brackets onto the exhaust clamp and it looks great sorry no pic right now but you should be able to imagine it. hopefully. What I ended up buying was clear alternative integrated taillights and so i dont have to worry bout turn signals since they are integrated. Get alot of looks on the fender elim and many thumbs up. Worst I heard was that my plateswas well out there for everyone to see but I dont run lights and such so what do I care, plus wont get pulled over by cops thinking that I didn't have one. My boys get pulled over for that all the time, cops would says "oh I thought you didn't have a lisence plate." Hope this helps.

Just respond to this in 1k forum. copy/pasted

I love the kit!!! Yeah, the plate mount probably isn't legal, but at least it has a very bright plate light. And you shouldn't catch any grief from the cops over your turn signals.

Did you have to cut a piece of your undertail..Cuz i was reading about that fender eliminator on the ebay site that sells it and it said you had to cut a piece. I was thinking about getting that kit for my bike but i dont know how much piece you gotta cut.

Just had to cut a small section of the battery tray out. Very simple, just use a razor. The directions show you exactly what to cut.

here's the tray after the cut:
