2006 F4i Power up
Pretty happy with ol yeller, but wondered if a K & N filter would give an increase in HP, however small. I assume it already has a ram air, so there is nothing out there to buy, to increase forced air (cold air intake) like with cars and trucks???
G P.S. Already have TRS carbon exhaust and power chip. |
RE: 2006 F4i Power up
ive heard that sometimes the stock filter works better. also you could always get a powercommander (im not sure what you are refering too when you say power chip) also what about velocity stacks . use the search option an dim sure you can find a lot of different ways to power up your bike. also you could just change the gears so it feels like it was more power

RE: 2006 F4i Power up
I have a K&N and TRS slip-on on my F4i but didn't really notice that much of a change. I thought it got a little more reponsive but maybe that is my imagination. Only a dyno will tell me for sure. I'd be surprised if I have any added horsepower because of those two mods. I don't expect to really see any difference until I get a power commander as HAVOC stated.
