Default 07 fork conversion 600 to 1000

Hi I'm new here. I'm a Aprilia rider so I'm kinda Honda dumb! How hard is it to do a fork conversion from a 1000 to a 600 07 cbr? I'm trying to help my friend put a Ohlins on his bike. I see that they make a ohlins for a 1000 but not for the 600. He has a 07 cbr 600rr could I take the triple clamps top and bottom from a 07 1000 cbr and put it on his bike? If i could do that I can put a 43mm fork on it. Do any of you guys know if the pin,rod that go's threw the frame is the same size?[/align]

Why would you want to? I'd rather go with the stock forks and the 25mm Ohlinsinternals than the 1000rr R&T's. Unless you're just going for looks or have a set of the R&T's cheap.
But yes, it's pretty much a direct bolt-on but you'll need the COMPLETE 1000rr front end (including wheel), except for the caliper. And you might run into a problem with the upper triple clamp. The 07+ has the ingition barrel set at a different angle the the 04+ 1000RR becuase of the central ram-air duct. But a RC51 top triple might do the trick, or you can always have the 07+ stock upper bored slightly at a machine shop.
