06 600rr what is this purple box
 

I just purchased a used bike and am in the process of taking it apart and found a little purple box wired up under the rear seat, it looks like a programmer but i cant seem to find anything about it online.. someone please let me know what exactly it is if you have seen it before

Ok thats good to know, makes since now that its in there because it has aftermarket headlights and tailights also
