You can't do that, it won't work
Other than So. Cal drivers [sm=icon_flaming.gif] I absolutely hate it when someone, especially someone behind a counter at a store, tells me you can't do that, it won't or doesn't work for what you want to do, etc.
Something as simple as heated grips for my 07 1000RR. The guys at a local dealership and the Cyclegear store stated it won't work on that bike. It cracks me up when mainly guys do that. It's not that I love to prove people wrong, I just hate the NO word. [sm=headbang.gif] Oh yeah, the heated grips and heat troller are on and work great. Tomorrow's ride in should be a bit more comfortable. Rant over. |

RE: You can't do that, it won't work
As a tech of 20 years i know how you feel. I walk into a parts store knowing what i want or need, yet there is always some kid behind the counter that knows more than me, its irritating.

RE: You can't do that, it won'
85 degrees at 0326 am in San Clemente? I took the 91 through Anaheim to Torrance at about 5:30 this morning and the further I got from Corona the cooler the temperature seemed to get. I was thinking about 55 degrees. But to answer your question I got them at Cyclegear. I also added a Heat Troller but I probably didn't need to.
