video camera mount

i was just looking through florida state laws, and it doesnt say you cant have a video camera attached. anyway, the reason i say it is that i saw a few people with brackets for them and made one myself. ill have to post a picture when i put it on the bike. i dont know if any of you have heard, but i have been told that if you get pulled over, the police can view your tape. so be careful or practice "disposing" of it before you stop.

Yeah here in MD they say they can view the tape and go after the tag numbers they can read. The only thing you can fight is the fact that your face isn't on the tape so they can't prove who is on the bike. But they also have a NO CHASE POLICY here in MD so why stop. ;)

Thats good info...I just got a camera mount and was trying it out....
I use the tank locker system....not too happy with it though...it seems to vibrate to much....need a better way to lock the cam to the mount....the one screw isnt enough....

Post pictures of the mounts you are using... I've thought about mounting a camera so I can evaluate how I corner. The one that mounts by removing three of the fuel cover bolts would be universal, right? So I can swap out with my riding buddy. Take video of him and then un-mount and put it on his ride so I can see how I do and where to improve. Sound about right to anyone?

Have any of you peeps used bullet cams? There reasonably easy to setup as a permanent feature, good picture small hidden cam can be located almost any where of your choice.

What does the camera record to? Is there a recorder mounted to the bike? Is so where do you recommend?

to a regular camera on a backpack or mounted on the rear sit. I had a old rear seat and made it into a camera holder for the track

All the above, i`ve also seen 40gb hard drives that are mountable for recording video data, there easy to hard wire into the bikes 12v systems too.
