update & question?

Whats up fellow BladeRiders?

After gettin my PC-5 & z-bomb timing retard cal put on my 08 1000rr monday my guy is gonna dyno it & install a custom map as well & I can't wait! . So far I've just put a R-77 yosh slip-on on it.

I'll let you guys know the before & after HP & torque numbers it makes.

As far as the question goes. . I just ordered a Bridgestone Battlax BT-016 tire online & right after I did one of the local motorcycle shops made me a deal to good to pass on. . He sold me a Metzeller Sportec M-3 for a steal. . Since my dyno guy said the dyno would eat the remaining tread off my current tire, I'm gonna have him install the Metzeller after we're all done.

So my question is. . What is the absolute optimum way to store the Bridgstone until I need it? . possibly till next riding season

Thanks for any info,

Jeremy

Just keep it out of the sun and cold and you should be fine.

if you have the pc5 why do you need a custom map? did you not get the autotune module with that?

if you didnt then i would recommend it. all you do is set the desired a/f ratio and it tunes to it automatically. very helpful for temp and humidity and elevation changes.

Good ? TBagr

I didn't get the autotuner mainly because my dyno guy said they're not quite up to par yet. . he said that they dont change the mapping near fast enough to be equivalent to a custom map job & he said they would really only be useful if you rode at the the same throttle constantly. & I trust that he knows cuz he's certified by dynojet to do mapping & turns out he built the world's fastest Ninja 250 for kawasaki.

I'll give him a free advertisement. . Chris Hill that runs Performance Psycle in Knoxville, TN

Anyhow when I installed my yosh slip-on I put red threadlock on the o2 sensor nut that came with the pipe per it's instructions & can't imagine how hard it would be to get out.
