Default Tires?

Ok folks,
I've got a 06 1krr with 3k mi on it great bike but the Pirelli Corsa's (Great Tires) that came on it are about shot. Looking at new skins but unsure of which ones to get.I'd like to know if anyone has put on a set of Pirelli Diablo Strada's? I live in MO so not a lot of curvy roads or track days, mostly commuter miles. Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks AudiCBR, I've looked at those as well as Bridgestone BT-021's Just trying to get my best bang for the buck.
How long have the Pilots lasted you?
Where did you get them?
Did you mount them?
And cost?
Thanks again KP

My pilots last about 2500 mi. for the rear and around 5k or so for the front, thats quite a bit of aggresive riding though. But damn, those 2ct's sure do stick to the road!!

Pilot Powers would be your best bet. I did NOT like the Corsa's. I found my back tire slipping a lot more with the Pirelli's. My Pilot' have not slipped at all (not even when cold!)

The 2CT are not worth the money IF you have chicken strips on your back tire. If you use all of your back tire, the get the 2CT's

The motorcycle magazines also list the dunlops as good tires, but you will get less milage on them.

get the Stradas but wait for the special
last year Pirelli had a promotion where if you bought the rear and mailed in the receipt + $25 S&H they gave ya the front for free

I like the Dunlop Qualifiers. I got over 3k on mine and thats both freeway and canyon carving. I am thinking about running the Michelins to see the difference.

well i'm at about 2400 miles on the powers, and plenty of tread left, but with the powers my rear end just falls into turns much faster. i paid 200 mounted and everything out the door from a local shop. but motoxoutlet.com advertises some pretty awesome deals on the pilots.
