Streetfight an 08?

Anyone thought of making a streetfighter of your 08 fireblade?
And if so, what mods do you want to do then?

Somehow i get a feeling there are gonna be flames in this post, so i might as well add to them :). The streetfighter thing may not be a bad idea, it would help improve the looks.

I agree. Even though Im not too fond of the streetfigher look. It would have to be an improvement over the stock plastics. You could just remove the fairings and run a short windscreen with dual headlights. Not sure what you can do about the back end.

Seriously, when I first saw a pic of the new RR from the front, I thought it was a scooter..... then I saw the 1000RR sticker.... man, what a disapointment. As sad as it is, I think even the old 900RR's with bug headlights looked better. Hopefully this look wont stick for too long. I was planning on a new liter bike in the next year or two. Might have to go yamaha...or ducati...;)

LOL, no flames yet[sm=badbadbad.gif]Since I am a previous owner of a Buell xb12s, a bike I loved but I was not so happy on thedealers after the first service "a long story short, it dont seem like those HD guys like their little brother or their customers" So I bought the 08 Fireblade from a dealer that I have known personal for years. And by the way I love the power these superbikes have, it's awesome!!! But I cant find E marked aftermarked headlights of known brands like Hella that I can go for, or bar risers that can go on the 08 Fireblade.

Its gonna take a little while yet for the aftermarket to catch up to the new 08 designs tho.
