Another possibility for a low cost solution would be to use a sheet of rubber tool box liner (all one piece and flexible) and attach with spray adhesive.

Many of us track guys, use some sort of DIY homemade stomp grip. While ready-made stomp grip can be convenient, when you're trying to pay for track fees, extra tires, etc, off the shelf stomp grip can be expensive.

The OP's adaptation or tool box liner is the same stuff that many use. The 3M spray adhesive works well. Its easy to remove w/a hair dryer/heat gun too.

One type of DIY material a few of us hit on a few mos ago, is sold at Costco & a few other places in rolls of 47" x 32" for $15!. Its called "G-Floor Grilling Mat". Its made by Better Life Technologies - Garage Floor Pads | Concrete Protector Mats | Roll Out Flooring (many other designs & applications). W/ that 47x32 roll, you can cut any size design. There's plenty for multiple applications. Its thicker & a lot more durable that tool box liner. Cut out your shape/design, let warm in sun, & apply 3M adhesive to back, & apply. Let dry & GTG.

Do you know the sku/upc number for that stuff you used on the tank for your bike on the first post? Also how did you glue it on?
