Default slack in the trany or counter shaft

my 2005 1000rr has back lash when rolling on and off the throttle causes a jerking that uncomfortable when in a full lean i round my friends 2006 1000rr and it had some back lash but i don't think it was as bad

+1 on menefreg's solution.....

also check the chain-tension and chain itself......if its too loose or just wore out, it'll amplify the problem

All fuel injected bikes have that kick in them. If you ride a carburated bike it doesn't do this because it has to build up a vaccum before it hits hard. The only bike I've riding that doesnt do this is the new 07 CBR 600rr because of the new set up Honda has. +1 on keeping the tranny loaded.

u should be accelerating through the turn anyways to keep weight off front

they are all right but check the slack in the chain too... i have had this happen to me.. thought my tranny was going but stupid me didnt keep up on the regular maint... i do now..
