Default Sargent Seat CBR1000rr

So I tried the Sargent seat on my CBR and I think it is just not going to work for me. I broke my hip a couple years ago and a few surgeries later, my hip ball is shorter and basic geometry changed to keep it short. The Sargent seat is great product but I think it is a bit too wide for me now. Maybe not wide but I need to be forward more like the stock seat to take pressure off my hip. Actually, I am not really sure what it is that is not working. Just that the stock seat, is working better for me now. Just wish it was softer.
So I am wondering if I should give the Corbin a try? Is it similar to the Sargent in basic shape?
Here is the Stock seat compared to the Sargent. I love the looks of the Sargent seat. I always have picked the Sargent over the Corbin on all my bikes. And they have always been very comfy.

Sargent Seat for sale in Classifieds.

Are you looking to sell your seat? I might be interested. What year is your bike.
Thanks

I bought a sargeant for my 05 and couldn't get used to it. I called sargeant and they gave me a full refund after giving me 90 days to try it out.

Supposedly the Corbin has you back even further from the tank than the Sargent or the stock seat. They are shaped to have you sit on the back portion of the seat for better support.

I think it is more that you have the option of sliding your butt back to the wider position at the rear. You can ride forward like the stock seat. Its just a bit wider at the front than the stock seat.
The idea is to give you more choices of better seating and better cushioning. My past Sargent seats before my injury, have been wonderful seats. After all, that is all Corbin and Sargent are trying to do, make better seats than stock ones.

If it weren't for this, I am sure I would be happy with the seat.

I've had my spine fused (via bone off my right hip) and re-aligned w/ titanium rods (also a decompression - remove excess bone in 4 vertibrae around the spinal cord) and would NOT be riding a sportbike were it not for my Sargent Seat. I've had 2 Corbin in the past & couldn't get along w/either. They locked my butt in one place, where too wide @ the thighs, and way over crowded My Boyz @ the seat/tank.

I'd contact Sargent and explain your situation and see if they can help you out.

Cheers
