removing tail piece for 08 cbr 1000
 

Hey guys I am trying to remove the tail piece to my bike so that I can make some upgrades to my bike, but for the life of me I cant seem to get the damn thing to come off. Any tips on how to take the thing off?

maybe look at the manual? if that doesnt work go to the honda dealer and a service guy will be happy to tell you.

The EvoTech Tail Tidy installation instructions give a pretty good how-to with color photos on removing the stock parts, including the tail piece.
