Anybody know how to remove the rear pegs on an 08 1000? Also how long is this gonna take?

So what I'm gathering is no one has done this or attempted this huh? Very well.

I read on another forum that it could take several hours of removing parts just to get to the screws to remove the pegs...doesn't seem worth it unless you're going to replace the rear fender as the undertail is what's in the way.

I figured as much. I started to do it than said screw it, too much work and time for such a small detail. Thanks.

I was looking to get them off so I could powder coat them. Seems like way more work than I feel like putting in.

My buddy and I removed the rear pegs when we put on the Hotbodies undertail. The bike looks much better and I don't understand why more people don't do it.
Yes it's a pain, but anything on this bike is.
You basically have to remove the rear section of the bike. Get a shop manual, it's well worth it.
It'll take you about 2 hours.
