PC3 problems
 

Hi, I just installed a PC3 on my 08 cbr1000rr, with it I got full Akrapowic race system and BMC air filter. When I drive in 1 gear the engine wont rev over 8000 rpm, and in 2 gear not over 6000 rpm. In neutral I can rev the engine all the way up to the red line. I installed the Akra and Bmc last year and had no problems so it must be the PC3. I tried different maps with no sucsess. And its an european mod by the way so can it be that I dont got the O2 eliminator? Anyone know of this? I will be happy for all help I can get.

Interesting because I'm having similar issues. While riding it really strains to go past 8k rpm. Only fast but really struggles to past 8k and when it does its screaming. Can't realy figure it out but I'm taking it back to where I had to tuned on dynoed and had the custom map installed. Mentioned the problem and he mentioned it could a couple of things. He'll check it tomorrow and I'll post his response. I'm going on 8900 miles and never had an issue until recently. Got the 2bros short can and the PC III.

Well found out that it's not the PCIII, in fact it was the new clutch installed due to the "clutch recall" apparently the new one the dealer replaced it was flawed. Go figure..lol When they rode the bike they felt the gears slipping and wasnt attained the power it should in each gear. There are replacing and should have it in about a week, well we'll see. Hopefully it'll be running as it should.
