i just put on a arata slip on and i keep hearing talking about a pc3, can someone explain to me what this is and how do i go about getting it done

its like a lil pc that u use to adjust the fuel injection. its called a power comander III. u can find them on ebay for pretty cheap sometimes or go to kneedraggers.com

a powercommander allows you to adjust your fuel/air ratio. it also helps with on/off throttle transitions. you can have a custom map made but you dont really need to do that with a slipon. if you want you can always give us a call. i can go more in depth over the phone with ya.

I am doing a huge upgrade in the following month. I want to know what are the advantages n disadvantages of a PC3. Will it prolong my engine or eventually make it worse. What if I get a bad tuner that may ruin my engine. My old bike 97F3I had for almost 8 years just had a Yoshi slip on and never had any issues. Rode it rain/shine love it to death. Now if I throw a PC3 full leo system on my 1000RR.Will that ruin the longevity of my motor or good for it in the long run. Or i may just end up getting slip on.Thanks.
