Does anyone have the hotbodies undertail on there bke? The undertail not the exhaust. IF so please send me some pics of a close up from the side views. especially the right side thanks

Just thought I would add that the color is not absolutely 100 percent perfect match to the factory red, but very close. The undertail comes with very small turn signals, so I also installed a tail light with integrated turn signals. I have ridden the bike pretty hard for 2 hours straight trying to see if heat would be an issue, but no problems yet. I have a 2bros slip on installed which I shortened the pipe by 3 inches so it doesnt stick out like a sore thumb...part of the reason I worried about heat causing an issue. The only potential problem that I see is the location of the plate. The kit comes with some angled brackets to mount the plate but with the plate mounted to the brackets, then mounted to the undertail leaves no more than one inch clearence between the bottom edge of the plate and the rear tire hugger. I thought the hugger would hit the plate over bumps so decided to mount the plate flat against the undertail.

 

I spaced out one more detail with the undertail...When installing the undertail you are directed to totally remove the stock heat shield which mounts directlly above your exhaust under the rear tail section...instead I just trimmed as little as possible from the heat shield as I could so the undertail would fit correctly and look good. I suggest reading the installation instructions on the hotbodies website to give you and idea what I mean. If you have any questions feel free to hit me up!!
