It all depends on how much you want to spend. There is so much you could do. I would highly recommend HRC parts. Theseare factory race parts from Honda. They have cams, pistons, transmission components, valves, rods, wire harness, ECM etc. Everything you would need. But keep in mind that these are race parts and it will be expensive. I have the HRC pistons, cams, valves and valve springs. Nothing on the street can keep up with me when I crack the throttle. Of course I also use it on the track. Thats when it gets really fun. You shouldn'thave trouble finding it just type in HRC parts and you'll get a site for them.

dont waist ur money on the hrc stuff unless ur planin on racing. do a 520 conversion and go -1/+1 w/ the sprockets and u will have plenty of hp and torque for ya for the time bein. like a completely different bike afterwords

Not to take away from the other guy, the HRC stuff is expensive and hard to come by. And as far as the sprockets go, -1 in the front and +2 on rear is probably the best on the 04 CBR 1000RR. Another idea is changing the duct to allow a smoother airflow to the air box.

the air duct their talking about is the A-tech intake. its bigger than stock and allows for more airflow. resusit8u on the 1000rr site as well as a few others run the a-tech intake. you will/should get a custom map done when you install it tho to get the most out of it.
