looking at new 2011 cbr1000rr
 

ok, I currently ride a '93 cbr600f2 that I bought new... now looking at a new 2011 cbr1000rr. But sitting on the bike at dealer, I noticed my neck is pushed further back on to my neck compared to the 600. I noticed if I lifted my hands even an inch it improved my neck position. SO, have any of you guys done the 1 inch risers etc? If so, are my stock cables etc still long enough to change out to different risers? Is it a pain in the ashcan to make the swap? thanks for any input either way........

have been told the stock cables work with a 1" rise, and everyone i've ever asked was very happy with the change.
