I might need a better understanding of how it works but isn't it dampen'd by an electronic solenoid? as in no fluid? Where did you pick up the hrc ecu?

There is hydraulic fluid in the HESD the electronic part just means that it is electronically variable.

Nice website. I don't know anyone else with the honda and asking people about hesd that ride a gsxr is like asking a homeless person about brain surgery lol. Thanks.

I'm considering making an electronic controller that can control the HESD on the new 08-09 1000RR. The goal of course would be to gain the ability to make fine adjustments to the dampening force manually.

It can't be too hard... the system adjusts the dampening force by changing the current supplied to the solenoid. If someone else has done this let me know so I don't end up re-inventing the wheel...
