Heat From Aftermarket Pipe Anyone Solved?
I have an 04 1000RR with full system and it does get a little warm under both seats. I was wondering if anyone had done anything that looked neat and worked well to cut down the heat from the pipe and muffler? Anyone have pics? Thanks

I used some heat sheild padding and heat resistant tape. now I have a carbon fiber exhaust and doesnt bother me much. You can also ceramic coat your pipes, or wrap them. Lots of options

get thermo tec brand adhesive back heat shield and cut to fit the undertail
go to www. hooliganbiketech.net and look at the arata install writeup it will explain more http://www.hooliganbiketech.net/hond...frameindex.htm you can even then paint the heat shielding black to blend it in to the subframe |
