Bazzaz Fuel Maps 08 CBR1000

Anyone have experience with the Bazzaz system with the self mapping/AFM unit? I have made maps using one Air Fuel Ratio (14:1) across all the rpm and throttle position sensor points. Are there different target AFR's at different rpm & tps points that result in better performance? I'm not necessarily looking for more power but want the engine to run best and safely from an engine longevity point. I do find that running a richer ratio, like 14:1, with 110 octane gas on the street, definitely loads the engine up. It begins to crap out at higher rpms until I get to the track and can make full throttle pulls across all gears to clean it out. Any input, ideas or discussion appreciated.

I am also running Taylormade exhaust, K&N air filter, Bazzaz quickshifter and traction control.
