Wow this is amazing to see people get stirred up so easily. How about you just ride and have fun, cause hp doesnt mean a thing.

Hey there guys I probly don't have the experience on these bikes as you but I saw the new D&D slip on dual cans and they look pretty cool. I know D&D is not a top rated brands but is D&D any good at all?

Some of the peeps running off at the mouth pretending to be experts on here obviously don't have much experience either D&D are decent but in general their sound is not my favorite. HP numbers are similar to all the other slip ons.

What is it bout the sound? Too loud, too weak, not deep enough? RWHP with stock is about 132 right? So the slip ons add what maybe 4?

I don't think they sound deep enough ... but that is a personal preference. You might love the way it sounds. Have not seen a dyno sheet w/before and after on the last couple years models. But 3-4HP sounds realistic.

getting back to the original question: Chain- Have you checked the integrity of the black RTV silicon seal between the slip on and the stock header, (this was a concern of mine when I installed my 2Bros slip on on my '03 600RR) any leak, however minute, may cause a backpressure problem. If it's been tuned, and you're still having a problem, I suggest looking at that first, reseal if needed. If it's still a problem, trace it back from there- next look at the manifold seal, perhaps it was tweaked during installation of slip-on (as improbable as that sounds, it could happen). Bottom line is- it's usually the simple stuff.

You said you had to professionally done. Why not take it back to where it was done and tell them it's not right and fix it?

Thumbs up dealing with it...

Yeah man..had the pipe installed at a different place but thats a thought to maybe re-check. When I had the PC III, customed map and dynoed, mechanic told me that it was as fine tuned as it was gonna be however would still have a bit of a hiccup. Grant it ! It's much less than orginally but I'm a stickler for perfection thus the reason for my question. Guess I can live with it ...thanks man...
