after market tail section

I'm a long way from doing any mod on my 88 1000f but I'm wondering if there is a more modern looking piece to replace the rear tail on this bike.

I have been looking but haven't found one. I am considering an led strip on the plate bracket so at least people will see me when I stop.

I'm thinking of somthing not as massive as the original design, more of a taper ending in a narrower tip at the tail light.
