2014 1K passenger peg removal?
 

So I went to go pull these off to powdercoat them, and it looks like the bolts are no longer accessible from the outside like on older bikes. Flipping through the manual, it looks like I may need to remove everything under the seat and then the tray to get to them. Is that true? The manual doesn't actually specifically address replacing these. Can I, say, remove the signal relays or something and get to the bolts, or am I SOL?

Did you ever get this done. I put the Street Hooks on my 08, which makes passenger pegs easily removed and installed. Its looks better with no passenger pegs. The street hooks are a PITA to install. Had to disassemble the whole tail piece by piece, drill holes in the battery box to get to the screws that hold the colored piece above the tire, remove tank bolts etc. Finally remove the whole sub frame, each side seperately. Got'er done. Took a couple hours, slow and steady, didnt want to scratch nothing. Sure does look better.

You're right, so I was like "nope." Just left them as-is.
