08 cbr1000rr no cut frame sliders

I have been searching and searching the internet. I can not find anybody who makes "NO CUT" FRAME SLIDERS for my 08 CBR1000. Can anybody help me out with an aftermarket company that is offering them???

I just ordered a set of these. http://t-rex-racing.com/catalog.php?...Fcategory%3D90

I talked to the company and they are sending me a set that is 2" and 3 1/2"

They look like they are going to be great quality and they are really cheap!

powers race rails. shoguns are GARBAGE. you still have to cut, and the no cut brackets will bend on a simple tip over, and further break the plastics. (and you still have to "trim".)

I disagree. The T-Rex frame sliders are awesome. They follow the frame and they stick out far enough to protect all of your fairings. They are great quality and I highly recommend them.

Ive never posted pictures on here before. I can try to post some when I get home this evening

I dont doubt the -t-rex's or any other brand are made bad, its the design/concept of it. 99% of no-cut sliders I have seen put the puck over some vital engine component, usually the head, or cylinders, or water pump, etc. When that bracket bends, you'll be lucky something engine wise doesnt get ruined. Yea they save you from cutting a hole in your fairings, which they're not designed to protect no how, they're designed to protect the frame. And every crash, except for the simple tip overs, or low speed lowsides, the brackets on no-cuts bends, and digs into the ground and causes more damage than it would w/o sliders at all. I have yet to see a cut slider fail, except for those who use something other than derlin pucks (ie. chrome, spikes, etc). Just think about it, not to mention have you EVER seen no-cuts on a race bike?

well i'd agree with you all on that, but i've actually seen a no-cut hold up pretty good on an 08 that crashed, because on the 08 no-cut there is a second mount point to spread any impact load out, and prevent (or at least reduce) any torsion on the frame ...but i mean it's true that cut sliders are more reliable! i do have cut sliders on my Ducati. But to give my no-cuts additonal support i added a pair of sato racing engine sliders on the 08 so its not that bad, i didn't have to do any modifications or trimming on my bike for the no-cuts. I'm not gonna dispute the fact that cut sliders are better than no-cuts because they are, but everyone has their preferences, if God forbids that i do have a major accident i wouldn't be worrying about my bike or whether if the sliders had hold more than myself, i'd just buy a new bike!...that's why i say everyone has their own preferences, while knowing the advantages and disadvantages.
