Posted this question in another section but realized that its better suited here. Anyways, has anyone ever done an undertail to side mount exhaust mod? Aside from a little fairing work it should be relatively easy to do. Any ideas?

 

Hello! Are you wanting to do a side mount like an 08 1krr? or just a regular side mount? Ive done it for a friends 600rr, it was super easy. My friend wanted the 08 style with a slash cut pipe out the side fairing. looked awesome! There are a few down sides (extremely loud, needs to be tuned for best performance etc.)

 

thanks for the reply! and to answer your question, i was interested in routing the exhaust to the side, similar to the 08 and later models.
