I have an '05 cbr 1k, I've seen many people selling the subframes listing that they will fit 04-07 years. Is this true? I called the dealer and they told me there were 2 different part numbers. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

 

A ton of things could change the part number. Different material, Even something as simple as a washer or different style bushing can change the entire part number. even just a body style change, no matter where on the bike the change too place. As you probably noticed, the tail section between 04-07 are the same. The 04-07 headlights are the same too, but they changed part numbers between 05 and 06.

As far as I know, the subframes are basically the same and should work 04-07.
