if anyone has a clymers could you please tell me what the valve clearance is for the 893cc... i have a clymers but its for the f2 and i have the 900 engine in it and i dont want to buy a manual just for valve clearance...

and yes i did multiple searches and nada..

Hey there bindelsf2

I have a Heynes manual for the 96 to 99 CBR900. I sent a screenhsot of the manual with the valve clearance section. There is a block circled in red for you to use as a reference if you get any more replies. I would assume that this is the valve clearance for pre-96 Fireblades.

Intake valve clearances are the same for all models. Exhaust valves are the same for 93-97.


Intake:  0.13--0.19 mm

Exhaust:

93-97   0.19--0.25 mm
98-99   0.22--0.28 mm

Obviously, if you're running the 893, the 93-97 bracket is where it's at. Good luck bindel!
