Default the answer to all your tire questions.

Just pick the grip you like to have that matches your riding style. I prefer more side grip

Thanks for that Tony. I've sent that to a few riding mates. Seems very handy. Cheers.

I just went with the Pilot Power 2CT's and I have to say that I am impressed. I dig the curves and the hold really well, but I am noticing that the center seems to be wearing out so quickly. I have never lit up the rear tire as I can't afford tires every three weeks. Any suggestions?

Any suggestions?
Yes, the Pilot Road 2. It's a 2CT with an even harder compound in the center.

What pressures? My 2CTs get at least 5K, and usually 7K.

PP 2ct are still on the med compound center and soft sides. I'm running 2Ct Roads now. I travel alot and they are really good. Harder compound for center and softer sides with more side grip than the PP 2ct! Don't worry! I did 160mph and done some nice curves in the mountain. Don't let the name ROAD fool you. Its just as good. Should last longer than PP2Ct and a lot of side grip if you look back at the picture graph. And 1 more thing. Running low pressure will also decrease the life of the tire because you are making it a little bit softer and making the tire grip more for the price of life span of the tire. If you are a hard street rider and travel/twisty mountains then I suggest the PP2ct roads.
