I'm going to make a custom shroud for it - as the way it comes is horrible. But the shroud is going to come up almost to the top tree and it's going to also house 2 Koso D55 gauges. One does: Speed, Odo, Fuel, Trip ; the other does RPM, Water Temp, time, etc. I may French a dummie-light bar into the tank too, but I haven't decided yet. It may be nice to have a neutral light, oil pressure light, engine light, etc...

I was thinking that if you could create 2 rows of lights, one on the upper tree and one on the lower, that would look cool. One could be high beam, one low. They could almost look like a light bar. I'm not sure how you'd do that, but in my mind, they look great. :-)

This is what the Hornet has:

I'm really not sure where i will mount it yet. I have it lying in the garage shelf. Haven't had the time to work more on the Hornet. But probably to the bar, top yoke or the gap between tank and top yoke. Few of my friends who ride fighters use this or the DB-01R+. It's pretty small and can be mounted pretty much every where and has every functions needed and looks nice

Koso is Chinese. You can buy those meters Conrice posted from Storm here in Finland. The DB-01R i have is allso substantially cheaper then the RX2.

I've seen those before, they're nice. I was originally trying to find an OEM 1000rr gauge, but since everyone that is selling one is asking $400+, I figured I'd go and do something a little different with round gauges.

They've also got ones that have dummie lights built into them, but I thought those d55 gauges were especially cool because when the bike is off, they're completely black and they're completely digital.

Hey Mika, what headlight are you using on your wife's hornet? Throw a pic up of her bike, you put a use front end in it too, right?

It has a full (brakes, rim, forks and triples) YZF 750R front end that i serviced. I bought it from a friend cheap that had it lying at hes garage when he changed a ZX-6R front end on his YZF 750/1000. I don't have any pictures of the Hornet but it needs some tidying and a paint job. I used this head light and brackets. I'll take few next time i go to my fathers garage were it is.

Finally moved in. This is it for now. I've taken measurements for my rear spacer and spacers for the front rotors. I'm going to start breaking down the bike and take the frame to the welder to patch up some holes and make new mounts for the subfrāme.

But you can see what the bike will look like.

I'm going to finish up the wiring, make new triangles, rebuild/paint the front calipers, etc.

Also, I'm going to get the end can figured out. I finally have the slave cylinder figured out for the hydraulic clutch conversion and the mount for the ignition.
