Default Yoshimura TRS SS Slip-on Before After Vids&Pics

Just got my Yoshi TRS SS pipe.
Finished installing it and it looks and sounds great!
I took a few pics and some before and after video but like a dummy I forgot the camera to PC connector at home, so I'll be posting them either this afternoon after work or tomorrow when I'm off.

First impressions: the actual installation was a breeze( I did not install the Quiet Core Insert ), Yoshimura does a great job in packaging everything and the instructions were easy to follow. Finished the installation with a quick alcohol wipe down to clean away oils, grease and other dirt to keep it from discoloration.

When I finally mounted the pipe and turned over the engine the sound was like day and night.
The Yoshi pipe has a low-grumble idle to it, I let it warm up a bit then took the F4i for a quick spin. I loved every minute of it.
At higher RPM's the exhaust screams with a pop every once in a while as I turned the throttle on and off, but growls idly as it winds down back to lower RPM's.
After the ride I let her cool down and then wiped her clean, the original Yoshimura colors actually accent my F4i color scheme, colors being red and white.

All in all I am very pleased with my new Yoshi TRS SS slip-on and recommend it to any potential buyers who are in the slip-on exhaust market or thinking about changing exhaust. You will not be disappointed!

Glad you like it sorry I couldn't get you a clip. It's rainned everyday but two days where I have been since May. It's crazy!

I have the same pipe for my '05. Like it alot. Especially the shape of it. What is this quiet core insert? Where does it go and what does it look like without the plastic packaging? Mine didn't come with one, unless it's already installed and I don't know it. And how would I know if it is installed.

Its actually very easy to tell if the pipe had the insert or not, if it does you can see the two-layer insert that is held in place by a small screw at the tip of the TRS exhaust, if not, all you can see is the inside of the exhaust pipe. Don't have it in front of me at the moment but its kinda small about 6-8 inches long.

Forgot to take a pic of the insert without the packaging, its not a huge difference with it on or off, my bud has the identical exhaust with the insert and it sounds almost the same as my pipe without the insert.
Besides, the TRS is not annoyingly loud as some pipes are, its more of a low rumble note to it, nice and purrrrrry...
