as stated whats the actualy top speed of an f3 i hear the speedos are off a bit on most bikes, so whats the average top speed of one??? mine has a stage 2 jet kit, full exhaust, and K&N filter...

 

Not sure, but my speed is definitly off. A good 15 mph off. For me to do 60, I have to run 75 on my speedo.

 

Measured is 155,but these don't have the HP to pull that,unless your bike loses some weight.

My racebike hits just over 150 @ Road Atlanta

 

factory apparently top speed is statistically 180mph, but i've only ever hit around 150 i looked at my speedo and it said 163 but i just estimated that it was off 10-15 mph. that was with a 190 on the back for stability too.

 

yeah, I never "saw" much over 165 on my 98 from the speedo. The F2 has no gauges, so... :-p I weigh 130-135 @ 6' btw

I've had mine just over 140 and I believe it had enough to run in the high 140s to low 150s. And I'm 6'2" 250.

 

I saw 165 on my speedo, i'm only 140lbs tho 5'8

 

I saw 143-145 on my speedo and my buddy in his STI said he was at 135 right next to me. My bike is stock all the way through (including sprockets). I would assume my speedo has a better chance of being off than his. I don't think I could have gotten much more out of the bike. Then again, I'm not a small guy. 6'1" and right around 250lbs.

 

I haven't had a chance to open my bike up yet, but the guy that I bought it from claims it topped out around 150mph. I ran it up around 120 (indicated) the last time I had it out and it seemed pretty effortless!
