Default How To: Shock Canister wrap

Basically allyou have to do is take a dremel tool, or scissors, and cut the top and the bottom of the can off. Then after the top and bottom is off, make a cut down the back side of the can where it wont be easily visible .. Thentake electrical tape and wrap the back of the can so ifyou ever take it off the bike, the canister wouldn't be scratched from the can.. Then just loosen the clamp on the shock canister and slide the can into position and retighten down the clamp.. Then stand back and look at it....Don't forget to drink it first!

^Not an 07, but I forget if it was Shoortbuss or his cousin, we were out for a ride and got a redbull at the gas station, ripped the bottom off, and put it on theirs. They had an 06, but it's in the same place as the 07.

I did that on my brother's bike EXCEPT I kept the lid portion on it and I used foam padding to fill in the space between the reservoir and can.

I'm going to use a Rockstar can instead of Red Bull.

NOTE: You're going to want to line the can up with the canister beforehand, and use a sharpie to mark where to cut the top and bottom. The Red Bull can is longer than your canister, so if you just lop it off at the lids, it will be too long, and if you only shorten one side, your logo will be off center.

Anything bigger than a red bull can is going to require filler, which is going to be annoying to take off (you WILL want to take it off, as the can will fade in the sun). You're going to only want to cut the top off, as well.

AMPED for now..was going to use an ENERGIE one because the can is black but the local corner store only had 2 left and the cans were damaged.

This is what happens after all maintenance is done and it's raining on a Saturday.
