Default 06 600RR VS 07/08 600rr

Hi guys, what's the HP on 06 600rr vs 07 and 08? Also, what's difference in the look beside the look underneath the exhaust and the front Fairings with that air vent on the 07 and 08. What i'm trying to find out is HP of 06 versus 07 and 08 and any changes on the look?

I know this doesn't answer your question completely and is a little off track... but here's a list of new items for the '07 bike:

- Class-leading power-to-weight ratio for outstanding acceleration and handling.
- Smaller, lighter, more compact inline four-cylinder engine.
- Improved midrange performance and enhanced peak power.
- Significant weight reduction in engine and chassis.
- Repositioned transmission shafts within crankcase allow for shorter engine.
- New lightweight, forged-aluminum pistons incorporate special shot peening for added toughness.
- Lightweight magnesium head cover.
- New, single exhaust valve-springs.
- Smaller, lighter neodium magnet ACG.
- New transmission gear ratios.
- Smaller, lighter clutch.
- New front-brake vertical-piston master-cylinder system.
- Lighter weight stainless steel four-into-one exhaust features new inline-exhaust valve to control exhaust pressure for maximum performance.
- New intake-air control valve (IACV) minimizes torque reaction and smoothes response to small throttle changes through gradual reductions of air and fuel intake when the throttle is opened and closed.
- New non-resonance knock sensor maintains optimum spark advance while constantly monitoring combustion performance during mid- to high-speed operation.
- New nose-mounted ram-air induction directs fresh, cool air to a higher-volume airbox.
- New smaller and lighter Honda Electronic Steering Damper (HESD).
- Newly designed Fine Die-Cast (FDC) frame uses four large castings for lighter weight.
- Improved mass centralization.
- Redesigned radiator with compact dimensions improves cooling capacity.
- All-new bodywork enhances handling and performance.
- Handlebars raised 10mm for improved rider comfort.
- Center of gravity revised for more neutral response and easier side-to-side flickability.
- New, compact instrument design.
- Exciting new colors--Pearl White/Silver and Ultra Blue Metallic/Silver--join Red/Black and Black as color options.

Look changes off the top of my head:
Black swing arm
Vent in the front cowl
Black motor casings
No vents in the rear plastics
Visable subframe

HP:
'07 i've seen dyno numbers between 105 - 107hp

the 06 RR is completely different (minus the shock/forks?) than the 07/08 RR. Ride both... they'll feel like night and day.

More importantly, the way the bike feels and handles is the BIGGEST difference between an 06 and 07/08 models. I had an 06, and I thought it handled good. Then I bought an 07 and HOLY CRAP does it make the 06 feel like a heavy old dinosaur.

The best way to put the 07/08 models is that they "feel very light on their feet" compared to the 05/06 models which feel heavy and sluggish in comparison. (sorry for you 06 owners......but I speak the truth.)

+1. The bikes totally different... not to mention that the newer bike has a much more "meaty" midrange. There's a reason that the 07/08 600RR won so many "top bike" honors... and why it's still kicking butt and taking names over the brand new designs (like the R6).

I'm not nearly as skinny as I used to be... that picture just always makes me laugh. haha

Sorry... I'm currently working on drinking 32oz of energy drink (in one, single freaking can).... and it's wigging me out. I feel like I'm typing at warp speed!
