Default When to cancel insurance

I am selling my bike 2005 silver f4i with mods in mint condition and was wondering if I should cancel the insurance now and get a refund. Would that cause any problems in selling the bike since I would probably have to turn in the plates? I am paid up until the spring. I am selling it for $5250 here if anyone wants to take a look:

I would cancel the insurance policy on it (or just remove that bike from the policy and put somehting else).

I wouldnt take off the insurance until it is sold......what if it gets stolen or you decide to ride it and then wreck it.....better safe than sorry.

I guess I'll keep it then. Come to think of it it doesn't make all that much of a difference.

Good point. It's the unforseen that can really screw you. Especially if you owe on it. Keep your insurance until it's sold and if you have to go month by month in the spring, do a month by month in the spring. I doubt you'll have trouble selling once the warmer weather hits.
