CBR 600 F4i shut off on twisty, Help?
I just bought a 2004 Honda CBR 600 F4i for highway riding. I normally ride my Buell XB12Scg so I'm use to taking really fast, tight turns. I hugged a twisty and my Honda freak'n shut off. I was amazed. I thought it was the gas, but the tank was more than half full. Any help would be appreciated.
maybe the tilt sensor? maybe your bike thought it was overturned cause u leaned to far into the turn or something. the bank angle sensor ignition cut-off system is what im referring to

did you accidentally flip the kill switch? stupid question, but people make stupid mistakes...not that you're stupid or anything.

as a total newb who has no idea about this sortof stuff, im just going to nod my head up and down kinda like i do know what im talking about, but i really dont.
i would check to make sure the bank angle sensor isn't loose...
there was a 1KRR that had problems shutting off as soon as the bike was in gear...we tried all sorts of things with the kickstand, etc...to find out that when he went to check the bank angle sensor...there was no bolts holding it on! his mechanic didn't put them on or they fell off!
i never heard from him again...because he is still out riding his bike to this day.
so if all looks well with the BAS, try bypassing it and see if it still shuts off.
