Default F2 Wiring harness issue; with pictures

OK here it is. The harness that is on the frame has five(5) male end plugs. The problem I am having is finding the mate for the small white one with two(2) prongs. Does anyone know where it comes off of the motor, trans, radiator where ever? This is driving me up a wall. Any help would be appreciated. I have my own manual and can not find the answer in the book. I called the local dealer and they some how lost their's and don't know the answer either.

Well, I'm actually doing a bunch of wiring on my CBR project.

There are a couple 2 prong connectors on this bike, What color wires are they?

If they are yellow and yellow w/ white strip, They are for your pulse generator. The other 4 two prongs (that i remember), Are one, kickstand sensor, the rear brake light switch, and the other two are for your ignition coils.

Its most likely your kick stand sensor, should have a wire going from the switch thats connected to your kickstand assembly go to that connector (Some people remove the kickstand sensor and bypass the kill switch because there switch goes bad)

If not then it might be your brake light switch, You should have a smaller cable that connects to that connector and connects to the switch behind your right side driver rearset.

In your first picture, you have 5 plugs. Looking through the Honda service manual I found that the green one is the kickstand bypass (pg 18-9), the red one is the pulse generator (pg 16-9), and the big yellowish one at top is the alternator connector (pg 15-11). Going to the main wiring diagram (pg19-1), I see two other two pin connectors possible. Thermostatic relay for the radiator fan or rear brake light. The coils would be identical pairs, but they go to the spark unit. Is the connector by your thumb a three pin? If so, it could be the connector for oil pressure, neutral, and temperature.

Your absolutley right about the green, red and "big yellowish one" haha. The one by my thumb is the one for the oil pressure, Trans and tempature. I have all of those hooked up with no issues it's the last little two prong white one. I have my brake lght hooked up; the plug for that ran back along the frame with the main harness and if I recall correctly it was a three prong plug.

I am going to try an see if I can get a minute to see what color the wires are running into the plug Nitro.

Thanks guys for all the help!

Looking at the manual's schematic - that's gotta be the thermostatic switch for the fan motor.

Should be a Green wire, and a Black/Blue wire? I can't see any other 2prong plugs what are labeled as a white connector (no color indicated on the plug itself on the diagram - all the colored ones have a color code on the drawing)

If you post up the two colors of each wire, I'll go out and find out which it is for you, Have to solder my wiring harness all back together so its all apart right now and i can easily look for you.

I looked on my cbr, i looked and found a white 2 prong connector like the one you pictured, and the one i think it is is your rear brake light switch...

The wires should be black/brown and green.

98% sure thats what the connector is.

The wires on that plaug are brown/ black and green/yellow so i'm thinking that it is the brake light too. So now the questions leads into, I have spark, fuel and crank with no fire; what other than it being out of time would cause this? any experiences, ideas or thought would be greatly appreciated because i'm lost and so are the "professionals" around where I live.

You have pulled a plug and observed a spark? Your plugs are wet with fuel? The motor is spinning? Sounds like we not getting the whole story. Is this a project bike? Can we assume it was a runner recently? If it ran recently, something could have been changed by the work you are doing. Sorry if this has already been covered.

Have you checked to make sure the coils are connected correctly? Have you checked the R/R with a meter?

Saw your other post about kick stand switch shorting and one about a replacement motor. Maybe a little more history on this one is in order.
