Default Erion Exhaust

I was just wondering if any of you guys had or knew anyone who had an erion exhaust on their 1krr. I was interested in how they sounded and the quality of them. I would assume that they would be good quality but I figured why not ask guys who knew.
Thanks

I just got mine in the mail (in carbon). Its going on my silver/black 2k8 RR.. build quality looks awesome, and it even comes with a little side filler panel like the yoshimura. I have not installed it yet, and ill do it next week.. I have not seen ANYONE with this setup yet, and I picked it up off ebay from luxmods dirt cheap. Im hoping for 3hp or so, 5lbs less weight, and a deeper growl from the 1000cc's. Im stoked!

If you get it for the right price, I say grab it. I have run erion pipes before, and kevin builds great stuff. I cant wait to put it on. Ill post pix of the pipe upclose if you want to see them.

Thanks. Thats what I was kind of figuring but I thought why not ask. If they make Erion edition Hondas, they must make decent products for them. Pics would be nice.

i have no experience on the 1k but the erion system i had on my VFR was good although as a racing company they make a fairly loud exhaust. i used the VFR on the track so i didn't care. but it was earplugs only. build quality was very good. there pipes are a little heavier than some but will take crash damage well.

Torquet the exhaust looks great. Hows it sound? I am actually asking for my dad...he has an 07 1krr and was looking at buying the Erion exhaust. I think I am going to go with the d&d for my '06, but only because I like the dual canister look.

I agree, BUT.... I only paid $225 SHIPPED to my door for a brand new exhaust.. one of the ONLY ones that comes with a filler panel (all the others that dont, look so incomplete to me. They look like cr@p if they are "unfinished" or leave something hanging)

The sound is EXACTLY what I was looking for, pretty similar to my hindle pipe I had on my gsxr from the 90's.

Now, the 07rr's are a different body style, so im not sure exactly how it would look on the one gentleman's father's bike. I thought that gen of 1krr's had the underseat exhaust.

When based upon value, I am totally thrilled with my purchase. You just cant beat $225 for a brand new carbon exhaust, from a reputable manufacturer. Erion has been making honda parts forever. Fit and finish was perfect. Install was a breeze, all hardware was included.

Yes the '07 had the undertail exhaust. I was just asking about the quality of the product and the sound they have. You can pick them up fairly cheap so I was wondering if they were worth it.

How does the Erion exhaust sound on your bike? Is it loud, somewhat loud, or quiet? Do you have a power commander? I have an 08 1Krr and I put on a carbon Jardine RT-5 pipe. Fit and finish is good and has filler panel, but Jardine exhaust is too loud and I like loud but this one makes too much noise. I think your pipe might be quieter because it looks like a longer pipe. The Jardine is shorter which is one reason its so loud. It has that short moto gp look. The Erion on your bike makes the 08 look old school with the longer can exhaust similar to the look of my old 929. I prefer the old school look. The Jardine also seems to need a power commander, but there seems to be some differing views among people on whether to use a pc on a bike with only a slip-on as the only mod. Anyway, just curious how your Erion pipe sounds? And did you say that pipe was only $225? Way cheaper than most other brands, seems like a great buy.
