Default Newer and Older F4i differences?

Just wondering if there are any differences between the older and newer models besides the ugly banana seat?

I hear that the newer F4i's (04-06) have more problems with the R/R than the older ones (01-03).

06 claimed dry weight is lower than the 02, also claimed lager fuel cap. by .04 gal
the older f4i (02) had a better safety rating than newer ones (06) 78.8 vs 73.1
the 02 f4i had 111 hp as the 06 had 95 hp, (de-tuned for the RR's to pave the way)

Where did you ever read or hear that the 02 had 111hp? They have and always had around 92-95hp stock....Mine has 102hp at the wheel however that is with a full exhaust system and a PCIII...I would say the only diff would be the seat and cosmetics....Unless you can prove otherwise...? tks

When they say 111 HP I'm pretty sure they mean engine HP not rear wheel HP.

Thats what I have been told every time I use those as a reference too lol.

I dont buy the detuning bit either, the RR's dont need any help at all leading the way lol
