Did lowering only the rear of your bike affect the handling? Good or Bad....

well there's good and bad ... I sometimes have clearance problems and hate speed bumps ... but I can touch the floor. As for corners ... I really don't feel any bad... I still get down.

Default thanks guys!

Yeah see im 5'7 and i can touch my tippy toes and do the whole lean to one side but like a couple of you said it sucks when backing out or down a hill. i can ride fine tippy toe but i just think it would be more comfortable to be able to touch flat footed. than kyou all for your advice! This site is the best!

I"M 5'9 and I put both feet down. I still have trouble backing out. Its annoying and embarrassing to get off and roll it back

What do you mean "trot for America"?

OK for one, I am a United States Marine. Two, Foxtrot4India = F4i

Here is a link to help you better understand that.

So I'm not FOR INDIA ... I'm actually filipino.

Lol, yeah it's called the phonetic alphabet. There's also the non-military version: Adam, Baker, Charles, David...

I put a diamond powersports lowering link on my bike. I'm 5'6 on a good day; def a great mod to help you feel more comfortable and have more control when not on level ground. It has a 1" and 3" hole you could select. I put mine on the 1" because I didn't want to drag anything on turns since I live in WV and ride twisties everyday. Didn't effect handling at all. Handles exactly the same as before I installed the lowering link. You won't regret it!
