08 owners...miles gone by....any complaints?
Any 08 owners out there experiencing vibration/buzz through the right footpeg, started after 2.5 thousand kilometers at 3k revs. A lot worse now, also at 5/6k revs. Honda Ireland dont seem to have a clue. Any feedback appricated
No complaints so far but I just got mine so time will tell. The first thing I noticed different on this beast is the brakes. I love the brakes. IMO the stock brakes on this bike are the best I've ever had on a sport bike not to mention it handles like my old 600.
I unbolted the exhaust from the footpeg and rode the bike, but it was the same. Savage vibration/ buzz at 3k, mild at 5/6k. Anyone else with the same problem as HONDA say this the only complaint world wide of this nature.

Got 6500 miles on mine and the only issue I have is the discolouring of the rear section of the exhaust lower part. I have been back to the dealer in Edinburgh and they said Honda are aware of it and are working on a solution which will be a free fix and likely to be a replacement. So in teh meantime I just ride the thing like I stole it and doing the world a favour collecting thousands of bugs on my leathers and fairings.Great bike cant see me changing it.
Just bought my bike in september, and have about 800 miles on it. It is my 1st 1000 and a step up from my 05 600 GSXR. I love the bike. I have the problem when i'm in neutral sometimes at an intersection, i sometimes have a little trouble getting back into 1st gear, usually a quick roll of the bike back and forth allows it to get into 1st gear.
