Here is a picture of the tie downs we are referring too Sparks. they allow you to use the clip-ons as anchors like chuckbear suggested, the pictures are form before i got them...Name:  clip_image008.jpg

Ah very nice. It'd suck to climb out of the truck at your final destination and find some cracked ABS.

Thanks guys, but I might just save myself all the worry and spend the extra $40-50 and get the one from Uhaul. I guess we'll see. I'm hoping to bring my dads friend who has had over 3 bikes, not only to inspect for me, but to ride it home if I need it instead of trailer.

cool you figured things out in the future, if u find ur self needing to move the bike around trailer or truck bed, look into a front wheel vice... looks like these. They hold the front wheel str8 with straps and just regular straps to hold the body down. But thats only if ur moving the bike constantly
