Hello everyone. I'm Jin from Malaysia (that little plot of land in between Singapore & Thailand).
I'm 28years old and live in the capital Kuala Lumpur.
My ride is a 2005 CBR1000rr. All stock except a pair of LASER slip-ons.
Started riding 12 yrs ago on a 1979 C70 moped, 1981 GS550, 1997 NSR150rr, 1998 Honda XRV750, 1996 Suzuki GSXR750 and then finally 2005 HONDA CBR1000RR!!
1 accident so far on the GSXR750 5 years ago. Lowsided in a turn. No major damage/injury beside a ruptured seam on my Alpinestar leathers.
Malaysia is a great place for riding. Cheap fuel. Cheap labour. Fantastic/smooth tarmac. All year round riding. Great selection of highlands and mountain passes. Speed cameras do exisit but the local cops make an exception for bikers. You'd get a fine for driving a car above 110kmh. You can pull a 150kmh wheelie while passing a cop and he'll give u a thumbs up

I also live 30 mins away from the Polini Sepang International Circuit. Was there 2 weeks ago to watch the MotoGP.
Only ride my bike on weekend mornings through the 3 mountain passes nearby my home. Occasionally attend trackdays too. (A 3 hour track session at the Polini Sepang Track is only USD30
. Again unbelievable but true.)
My bike has done 32000kms. Performance has been great till this day except for the occasional puff of blue smoke coming from the exhaust. Looking forward to do some searches on this topic later.
